1. Applicability

This policy applies to:

Admission fees, tuition fees, and any other payments made to the school.

Refund requests initiated by parents/guardians for specific reasons.

2. Admission Fee

Non-Refundable: Admission fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, as they secure the student’s enrolment and administrative processing.

Exception: In case of withdrawal due to unforeseen situations such as transfer or medical emergencies, the refund request will be considered on a case by case basis.

3. Tuition Fees

Cancellation before Session Commencement: If tuition fees are paid in advance and a cancellation request is submitted before the academic session starts, 80% of the tuition fee will be refunded.

Cancellation after Session Commencement: No refund will be provided once the academic session has started.

4. Other Fees

Activity Fees, Exam Fees, and Miscellaneous Charges: These fees are non-refundable.

Transport Fees: Refunds for transport fees will be granted on a prorated basis if the service is discontinued by the parent/guardian, subject to written notice and approval from the school administration.

5. Process for Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the school office or via the official email at genexinternationalschool@gmail.com

The request must include:

Student’s name and admission number.

Details of the payment made (date, amount, and purpose).

Reason for the refund request.

Processing time for approved refunds is typically 15-30 working days.

6. Mode of Refund

Refunds will be processed via the original mode of payment or through an alternate method agreed upon with the parent/guardian.

Any applicable transaction or processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

7. Disputes and Resolution

In case of disputes regarding cancellations or refunds, the school administration’s decision will be final. Parents/guardians are encouraged to contact the school office for clarification or resolution of any concerns.

8. Policy Updates

GenEx International School reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be updated on the school website, and parents/guardians are advised to review it periodically.
